Stage 1: Initial Contact & Free Consultation

 Your journey begins with a friendly chat.

Once you reach out, we’ll arrange a free, no-obligation home visit with one of our experienced loft specialists. During this visit, we will:

Discuss your goals, design ideas, and preferences

 Assess your loft space and its conversion potential

 

Provide professional advice on layout options, headroom, and design possibilities

 

 Our aim is to understand exactly what you want — so your new space fits your lifestyle perfectly.

Stage 2: Personalised Design & Fixed Quotation

Once we understand your requirements, we’ll prepare a detailed, fixed-price quotation — with no hidden extras.

You’ll receive this within 7 days, complete with:

A breakdown of costs and timescales

An overview of the proposed design and specifications

Any recommendations for maximising space or natural light

When you’re ready to move forward, simply sign and return your proposal acceptance form — and we’ll get things underway.

 

Stage 3: Survey, Planning & Technical Drawings

Next, we’ll conduct a full structural survey of your property to capture exact measurements and building details.

Our architect will then prepare your bespoke loft plans for approval. You’ll have the chance to make changes before we submit them for planning or building regulation approval.

At this stage we’ll also:

Discuss start dates, schedules, and payment plans

Handle any planning applications if required

Prepare Building Regulation drawings and structural calculations

 Most loft conversions don’t need full planning permission, but all must meet Building Regulations — and we manage both on your behalf.

Stage 4: Approvals & Preparations

Once planning and building approvals are in place, we’ll take care of all the groundwork:

Securing any necessary local authority permits (e.g., scaffolding, skip hire, road use)

Ordering materials and scheduling the build team

Confirming final design details with you
